As of August 2024, Indonesia is implementing new digital declaration requirements for all travelers entering the country. This measure is aimed at preventing the spread of infectious diseases, specifically mpox (formerly known as monkeypox), within its borders.
The Indonesian Ministry of Transportation has announced enhanced entry regulations, mandating that all arriving travelers complete the SATUSEHAT Health Pass electronic self-declaration form. This form requires individuals to provide details about their current health status and recent travel history.
It’s important to note that this electronic self-declaration form must be completed by every individual, including children and infants. Once all necessary information has been submitted, a QR code will be generated. Travelers are required to present this QR code upon arrival at Indonesian airports.
